 The camp is 3 kms by road from Ahipara, 11kms by road from Kaitaia. Ahipara has post office, store, petrol, takeaways x 2, laundromat, restaurant, and bottle store. Other adventure activities are available: 4 wheel motorbikes, fishing, landyachts, horse treks, kayaking etc. Kaitaia has all main banks, ATM’s, large grocery store, department stores, bars, cafes, and all types of fast food outlets. |
 The GoodVibrations Surf Camp is west of Kaitaia in the direction of Ahipara. Masters Access Rd is exactly 11kms along this road, on the left hand side. It is signposted at the bottom of the road and at the entrance to the camp, which is 700m up the hill. Kaitaia is 340kms north of Auckland and takes 4 to 5 hours by car. Buses leave early each morning from Auckland and take 6 hours to arrive in Kaitaia. The fare is around $70 for an adult and discounts are available for YHA and student card holders. Air travel takes 1 hour with a variety of fares available depending on when you book. Check www.airnewzealand.co.nz for fares and bookings.
